In a conscious move to more commercial based design projects, taking our knowledge of space redistribution and luxury fit out, we have taken on the design project of taking an old bank into a new late licence bar.
The location is large and requires a complete gut and transformation in every respect, to take a tired old bank that had been left in disrepair for years into a new and exciting bar that marries fun, excitement yet cozy and inviting, all in equal measures. The project exists on two levels with a mezzanine that represents half the ground floor and overlooks the designated area for the dance floor.
Here we have been employed for all aspects of design from a consultancy point of view, instructing a shop fit crew from a design, perspective, whilst helping with procurement where necessary. As well as concept and layout design we have also undertaken the lighting design, external design, even flowing the concept of the design into the branding with the design of the logo.
The project is about to be ripped out and the fit out begin, and we will regularly be involved on a weekly basis making sure our design is executed correctly, with regular site visits and meetings.
